DGK (Dirty Ghetto Kids) started in the mid-1990s as a tight-knit skate crew in Philadelphia, representing self-made underdogs, street skaters, and misfits.
In 2002, professional skateboarder Stevie Williams left Chocolate Skateboards, launching DGK as a commercial skateboard and streetwear company with action sports and skateboard distribution company, The Kayo Corp of California.
DGK is known for blending hip-hop culture, edgy street graphics, and a raw "from-nothing" ethos, standing out in a skateboarding industry with a different aesthetic.Β
